About Us

Bodster Equine Assisted Learning Centre is run by us, Jo and Giles Boddington. We offer Equine Assisted Learning, where People develop a range of skills, improving their self-esteem, understanding their own behaviour and increasing their emotional intelligence in a supervised horse environment.

Our courses are open to anyone from 6 to 90 years of age. People do not need to have had any experience with horses before and we pride ourselves in working with people on an individual basis whatever their specific requirements.

Why Horses?

Horses are social animals with individual roles within the herd. They have their own personalities and moods and they have very successful, non-verbal communication based on body language and energy. This all reflects the individual’s role within society.

Horses are non-judgemental and have no pre-conceived assumptions that might limit the learning process. They do not judge according to our appearance, the colours of our hair or our history. They do provide instant feedback based on our energy ‘in the moment’.

Is this for me?

Enquiries are welcome from parents, carers, statutory and voluntary organisations, HR team builders, or any individual looking to develop employability skills or anyone from 6 years to 90 years of age.

Our aim is to raise aspirations and ambition and to nurture skills and attributes needed for personal fulfilment and to make a positive contribution to businesses, the community and society.

Sponsor a Pony or Horse at Bodster CIC for an Annual Cost of £25
