We received a grant of £4557.11

We want to say a big Thank you to everyone who chose us as their cause during the past year.

Through being one of the local Shanklin Co-op Community Fund Recipients this year we now have funds to run some sessions to develop a sensory nature habitat to help young and older learners learn about nature and how to preserve it.

Through this project we have engaged with younger children with the older learners and so helped them see that they can work together and thus feel the land becomes an area they want to protect and develop together alongside sharing ideas together. Using the iPads some of the learners developed a visual picture which we displayed at Bodster CIC.

We hope to be able to run more similar projects in the future where young and older people work together on a project at Bodster CIC. Do get in touch if this is something you would be interested in being involved with.
