2015 – Community Award – Isle of Wight – Third place

We entered our ‘Never too Old’ project in the Isle of Wight Community Action Awards 2013 Older People catagory. We went to the award ceremony at the Riverside centre Newport Isle of Wight. We received Third Place in the catagory – pretty amazing behind Isle of Wight Society for the Blind and Isle of Wight Age UK both of whom have lots of volunteers and are much bigger organisations. The cheque we received for our third place will go towards continuing the ‘ Never Too Old’ project.
